About & Technical Architecture

Pokémon Redstone is a free, unofficial fan project by MozeTech that mixes Pokémon with Minecraft. You play as Steve in a Pokémon-style overworld with a minimap, hearts, hunger and a Minecraft hotbar, mining, placing blocks and eating as you go, and you can be slain by mobs such as zombies. Meeting a wild Pokémon, such as a Rattata, starts a Pokémon-style battle where Steve fights with moves like Punch. The title screen also offers a Join co-op option. Move with the arrow keys or WASD, hold Z to mine, attack or talk, press X to use, place or eat, Space to jump, Shift to sprint, E for the inventory, Q to drop, 1 to 9, the mouse wheel or C and V for the hotbar, Enter for the menu, J for the map and M to toggle music; phones get on-screen touch buttons.

It combines two series: Pokémon, from Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures, and Minecraft, from Mojang and Microsoft. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures, The Pokémon Company, Mojang or Microsoft. Pokémon and Minecraft are trademarks of their respective owners.
